Virtual track walks for Jerez and Le Mans Bugatti
Track walks are great. There's no better way to get to know a track, than to take a slow walk around it the evening before. But now there is! We're introducing "virtual track walks" via the explore mode of our new 3D models.
As an example, for Jerez, you just choose "Explore 3D track" and you'll see the 3D model of the track with a label highlighting the centre of the Jerez Circuit. There's an arrow at the right of the page which you can click on to navigate to the next point of interest (VIP Box, also known as "the UFO"). Keep clicking right to cycle through the points of interest, or click left to go back to the previous one. At each point of interest you can look around by dragging on the screen.
We hope this is a useful way to get to know each track. As a bonus, we've started including the number of corners for each track on the main track page (along with other details like track length and width.
We'll be adding more information about the characteristics of each corner soon, including things like whether it's constant or decreasing radius, uphill or downhill entry and more.
In the meantime, enjoy our two new 3D tracks - Jerez and Le Mans Bugatti.
